Please join me at Immersion – a free, online meditation retreat hosted by Unified Mindfulness this week, September 14-18, 2022. I’ve been practicing mindfulness for a number of years, and I’m a certified UM mindfulness coach. This is a wonderful chance to learn from my amazing friends and colleagues who are teaching at this event. Immersion will consist of two unique virtual meditation rooms:
- The Retreat Practice Room is reserved for learning and practicing mindfulness techniques
- The Life Practice Room will include live-streamed Q&A sessions, panel discussions, and Life Practice instructions on over 40 mindfulness topics and specialized applications.
Again, you can choose to participate in as much or as little as you’d like. One thing I can assure you of is that the UM approach is simple, accessible, and particularly effective for those of us (me included!) who thought they could never meditate. And, it combines the best of the world’s contemplative traditions in a completely secular context.
Over the last 10 years I have accrued thousands of hours of meditation practice. And I can tell you with 100% confidence that this tool has sustained me and helped me be more skillful in handling difficult situations. It has brought me enhanced focus and clarity. And it’s made me more effective in my work and relationships.
