The impact of COVID-19 isn’t limited to our health – unfortunately we are also seeing a significant economic impact and the layoffs that come with that.
What I want to say first is that – as difficult as this is, and it is VERY difficult – this is not forever. At the same time, if you or someone you love is one of those who has lost a job, it can be devastating. And when you pick yourself up – which you will! – you’ve got some decisions to make about how to land a new role.
LinkedIn is a great resource, and now they are offering an “Open For Work” frame and filter to help recruiters find folks who are available to get back to work right now. Yes, employers are still hiring!
